We are taught to punch those out, pretty sure he tried to catch but ill need another look. Not that I will bother its fairly obvious Onana is garbage. And this is why non-goalkeepers shouldn't comment on goalkeeping
Bayindir ain't much better. Literally made the Spurs look like Barcelona in the Carabao Cup. The Spurs... Only thing he has on Onana is height. Freezes on his line and is even worse with his feet.Should be Onana's last game for United. f***ing clown.
Both teams missed good chances.
His worst game with Lyon I'd say.WElp I hope to see more rom Alamada cuz that was rough today.
I'm not sure a true punch would have worked, but you have to have enough wrist control and situational awareness to put it out to the side rather than right back to the opposition. We are taught to punch those out, pretty sure he tried to catch but ill need another look. Took a look again it’s on the ground he has to control that ball. It went right to himI'm not sure a true punch would have worked, but you have to have enough wrist control and situational awareness to put it out to the side rather than right back to the opposition.
Yep. It should have been an easy hold if not a smother. Worst case you put it wide. To do what he did is horribleTook a look again it’s on the ground he has to control that ball. It went right to him
It was a hard low shot from from close range, basically from the penalty spot. Not so easy.Took a look again it’s on the ground he has to control that ball. It went right to him
It’s definitely not easy when you suck but to play for a team like united you should be making it an easy save. In fact it’s very easy.It was a hard low shot from from close range, basically from the penalty spot. Not so easy.
I mean... easy maybe not. It doesn't change the fact that Onana couldn't have bungled that shot any worse. It was a hard low shot from from close range, basically from the penalty spot. Not so easy.
Eintracht are third in the BundesligaDrawing against a mid-table BuLi club who now have the home field advantage?
It’s not easy, but it’s something that should be within the toolbox of a keeper playing at a club if United’s size.It was a hard low shot from from close range, basically from the penalty spot. Not so easy.
All this Onana talk has diverted from two points though: the original shot from the penalty spot shouldn't have been allowed (coverage?) and why no one covered the rebound. I mean we're on a hockey site and the latter is always the one that sticks out on the goals United allow far often. It’s not easy, but it’s something that should be within the toolbox of a keeper playing at a club if United’s size.
His fundamentals (positioning, movement, body control) are really awful. Sometimes he can make up for them, but it’s the source of a decent number of his goals against, including both yesterday.
Shots happen and get through. That's the whole point of a goalkeeper. And yes, we are on a hockey site. Talking about rebound control when it comes to goalkeepers should be second nature. All this Onana talk has diverted from two points though: the original shot from the penalty spot shouldn't have been allowed (coverage?) and why no one covered the rebound. Both things can be true, the defense played it poorly and allowed a shot. But that doesn't mean Onana doesn't play that shot horribly. All this Onana talk has diverted from two points though: the original shot from the penalty spot shouldn't have been allowed (coverage?) and why no one covered the rebound. Onana has inspired me to make a comeback
