I recently was texting with an ECHL coach about what he expected from a game that night. It was three hours before puck drop, and he sent me his lineup – and then the opposing team’s.

I come from an old-school era in which coaches would play mind games when it came to lineups. You didn’t know with absolute certainty who’d be starting in net until it happened. ...

Eastern Conference ... North Division
Eastern Conference ... South Division
Western Conference ... Central Division
Western Conference ... Mountain Division
Awright, time to fess up ... Who among us thought the Heartlanders would be in 3rd place with over 30 points in the Central Division at this point in the season?
Maybe the small crowds @ Xtream Arena reduce the team's distractions. 
Eastern Conference ... North Division

Western Conference ... Central Division

It looks like it will be a fun season in the North Division. I am surprised by how well the Nailers are playing. And the Admirals are not going away either.

The Komets stepped up to take care of a fan who was being mistreated at a game on New Years Eve. Well done by the organization and SHAME on the two braindead individuals who did this.
