Likely apply that to the AHL as well since it's the same Players' Union

Same union but a much different salary structure. ECHL guys are getting paid $500-700/week for 26 weeks (but the team provides housing expenses). AHL guys are often paid well north of $50-75K with no league salary cap (although they do have to pay for their own living expenses).
