Something like that yeah, at least a few ejections happened. I find it interesting that the Generals fanbase sounds like the Ducks, they talking about all the no calls against the other team and that for once their guy didn't get called for one(the Sennecke vs Aitcheson one).
I still remember the Perry ejection in the winter classic game that Dallas was in, he got ejected and the cameras followed him all the way out lol. Totally perry getting himself kicked out of the winter classic.

This is why I think he needs to bulk up or stay in juniors. If he plays chippy and on/over the edge like that, and is still a string bean, he’s going to be targeted and injured by much larger players.

Rimouski won 3-2 in OT last night, taking a 3-2 series lead. Blais scored the tying goal midway through the third period on a 5on3. Really like to see the take charge mindset in a key moment. He had ten of his team's 56 shots as well.

Really skilled and smart offensive player. His OHL numbers don't really show it, but it was his first year in NA, apparently dealt with some serious illness for quite awhile upon arrival, and had to play for an idiot coach. Clearly has found his swagger again with his showing in this tournament.
However, he's one of those guys who will have to prove he can create separation against higher level opponents. He's undersized, not overly fast/explosive, nor is there much of a physical side. Pretty much have to bank on his brain/skill being able to carry him, or hope he'll add a more dynamic quality to the skating. So pretty much a "top six offensive producer or bust" type guy, as it's hard to picture him bringing much else to an NHL lineup. Not that he's a defensively liability, just doesn't have the physical toolkit of a typical grinder.
I would guess that this tournament has bumped him up from possible/probable draft pick into more of a mid round status. This draft lacks quality depth enough that maybe someone falls in love enough to take him in the second.

Rimouski lost 5-1 in game six today with Blais going pointless, will host game seven on Tuesday
IIRC at least one of those suspensions was something that is suspension-worthy in the minors but fine in the NHL.

Yeah he was given an automatic two game suspension as a result of being assessed a slew footing penalty, for this play

As noted earlier, Mateiko said Ducks were one of the teams seemingly very interested in him. A d as per Maden, some players Ducks wanted went just before - I think he's the guy we wanted.
Having 2 Latvians picked in the same draft by Ducks would be insane for me. I'd be a Verbeek homer no matter what
