Prospect Info: 2024-25 Ducks Prospects

At the end of the day it is about different skills and hockey IQ. All these little things add up and it's certainly exciting AF to see him do this and 100 other different things he does. Add his size, grit, skill, and he's someone you really really want on your team when games start to matter more.

I do remember reading that Sennecke amps up more in the playoffs, but forgot who said it... maybe AGM Madden. What I am extremely excited about Sennecke is that he is still able to play his small game while getting taller and ganglier. It's as if the extra reach just adds onto his small game. But now, he is also realizing he's a bigger kid and playing more of that physical brand. Sennecke is playing out a dream of every plucky 5'10 forward would ever wish for... being taller.

There is a lot of Perry here

Agreed. I think a Perry/Filip Forsberg hybrid is Sennecke’s best comp which would be terrific

Sennecke might absorb contact with the puck as well as i've see from a prospect. He really uses contact to his advantage, often helping him sludge his way to the net for prime opps, similar to Perry.
:) So he's a modernized upgraded Perry. Jet engine installed for elite skating ability as well as being slightly taller by 1 inch which gives him more reach with hockey stick.
2 years ago we were saying Carlsson was the upgraded modernized Getzlaf with his great skating ability, even though there is hell of a lot more Barkov/Kopitar in him but in terms of the franchise he's Getz replacement longterm,
