Oshawa will take on Barrie, who beat Kingston 6-4 last night in game 7, on the back of a 2G 1A performance from draft eligible D Kashawn Aitcheson. That series will kick off Friday evening in Barrie.

Blais and Rimouski will take on the Shawinigan Cataraques, who are led by recent Flames first rounder Matvei Gridin and are receiving strong goaltending from Mathys Fernandez, son of former NHL goalie Manny.

I feel like Comtois has some left in the tank. Wouldn’t be surprised if he refined his game and built confidence over there and made his way back to the nhl.

Comtois has talent and confidence in his game. The problem is he stopped putting in effort after he got paid. Comtois has the most PIM in the KHL regular season with 99. He's second in PIM in the playoffs with 26. No idea if he's become a pugilist or his skating still bad that he take a lot of penalties?

I think Comtois needs to do more b/c he couldn't produce more than Rocco Grimaldi last season in the AHL.

yeah without any other context, this really isn't that impressive. I wouldn't look at that and say wow that's a player who would make an impact in the NHL.

First off… I am in no way a Beckett hater…

But while He has a decent point production in the playoffs, from what I have seen he has not been a dominant factor. I expect him to be easily one of the best players on the ice, but I have not seen that. I don’t believe he is being consistently recognized as one on the “stars of the game either.
