We have some decisions to be made in the coming months about which prospects we are going to sign or lose their rights.

1st June
Carey Terrance
Konnor Smith
Vojtech Port

15th Aug
William Francis
Ian Moore

Will be interesting to see who we keep.

I'd be quite surprised if we don't sign Terrance, a lot of good pro qualities there.

Smith - I wouldn't be shocked if we signed but I don't see it, still too raw as an overage in junior. Could maybe do an AHL/ECHL deal and try to develop him as an enforcer, maybe move to forward like Des did.

I'm surprised Port doesn't put up more points in the WHL, watching in the WJC he looks to have a ton of puck savvy. RHD with decent size, he looks worthy of signing.

Hopefully his medical situation gives Francis further NCAA eligibility if that's his intent. I don't want to speculate on that one otherwise.

Moore is the most intriguing storyline here. People have pointed to other recent prospects like Thrun and Lacombe as evidence of why he will or won't sign, but that's really not how it works. Moore and his camp will make their own decision about where they see him fitting in, and what's best for his development. What others chose previously really isn't relevant.

@Ducks DVM reported from the Ducks 2025 Migration STH even that Verbeek is expecting Moore to come to San Diego soon (after his NCAA season has ended) and play a couple of NHL games. It looks like an agreement to burn his ELC this year. Well, I do hope he signs first and then goes to San Diego than get dicked around to go to San Diego to earn an ELC like Colangelo.

I'll believe it when I see it. I hope it's true but it's honestly shocking.
