4. Colangelo
5. Sidorov
6. Gaucher
7. Hinds

Ducks came in at #2 for organizational rankings.
Where did Traff end up on the NJ list? Probably slots in at 7-12 on the Ducks list depending on your POV.

No Pasta love? interesting

Considering that Pasta was demoted to the ECHL to start the season, the THN probably looked at the stats around Christmas time. Pasta was still making his way up the scoring chart and only recently became the Gulls top scorer.

Similarly with Colangelo, he got called up to the Ducks and missed several games for the Gulls. At least the AHL recognized his production to make him the Gulls' AHL All-Star.

Man, I wonder if Colangelo could take a similar spike in game play next season if he can stay with the NHL club. He definitely has a nose for the puck. At last year's Dev camp, he looked like he was a prospect on a mission. Turned out, he was as he went on a scoring spree in the NCAA with Western Michigan! Today, Colangelo is still the Gulls leading goal scorer with 19 goals in 38 AHL games. Pasta not far behind with 17 goals in also 38 AHL games. Then vet Carpenter with 16 goals in 54 AHL games.

He was 10 on NJ list and they were 13tg overall. So likely not in the top 10.

But I also don’t agree with the list for the Ducks so that doesn’t mean a ton.
I think NJ got knocked down b/c they don't have many high-end prospects but they do have a lot of depth.

Procyszyn finished with an assist.
Harvard plays in the first round of their conference tournament on Friday. It could be Moore’s last NCAA game.
I'll be really curious to see what his value is around the league. I'd be surprised if he does sign here, but I say that with information. The team just has a lot of dmen.

But how much competition does he really have on the right side? Gudas and Trouba are only signed for one more year, and could be gone mid season. Helleson is a 6D, and other than that there’s just Luneau. Unless in his mind he thinks he’s an NHL regular right away, there is a clear spot for him to win within 1 season.

The team had a lot of D-men too when LaCombe signed with us and now he's atop of every d-man. As @ADHB shared above, Gudas has a year left and there is a free for all after Luneau at RD. Who knows how long Trouba will be here in Anaheim?

RD youth depth
  • Helleson (DFD)
  • Luneau (OFD)
  • Warren (DFD)
Moore can be in the mix of things, especially since he's probably our fastest RD skater, should he sign with us.

But if you've got a heads up about Moore going UFA, then the Harvard curse continues.

You are likely to end up in the AHL anyways, even if you use the ufa route. I know Thrun was in the AHL for a while.

I haven't considered Moore a Ducks prospect in a long time, yes he is technically but I don't consider him one because he's isn't gonna pan out for the Ducks but could on another team.

We have some decisions to be made in the coming months about which prospects we are going to sign or lose their rights.

1st June
Carey Terrance
Konnor Smith
Vojtech Port

15th Aug
William Francis
Ian Moore

Will be interesting to see who we keep.
