They list him at 195 this year, he should hopefully be up over 200 lbs by next season. And yes I think he at least starts the year in Anaheim

Our rookie camp roster sheet has Sennecke listed at 184 lbs. In his picture at rookie camp, he looked like a 6'3 and 184 lbs bean pole. And because he is a currently 18 years old and doesn't turn 19 until Jan 28th, Sennecke is either NHL or back to juniors. We have should enough talent at the NHL level to let Sennecke continue to build his body at juniors. I don't want another "Luneau load mgmt" to make him body build for half a season and then returned to Juniors by December along with the potential to play in the WJC-20. Let's not stunt Sennecke's creativity nor give the possibility of being broken physically by actual NHL'ers.

You know he is going to be part time in the NHL under the Leo plan. IMO he should go to NCAA for a year

Have to keep in mind the leaps and bounds in which Sennecke is developing both physically and as a player. What you see in December 2024 is not the same player who will be competing for a spot in September 2025.

It's not my opinion so much on what they should do, I just expect they will have him at least around for a trial to start next year, based on how these things have tended to go with F prospects of this caliber.

Yeah I think he’ll be given every opportunity, ready or not. But for his injury I imagine he’d have made his NHL debut this year.

Yeah it seemed like things may have been heading that way, that's part of my reasoning for my prediction for next year. They may even do the whole thing where they drag out the trial until WJC camp time (like they have in the past) and loan him for that next year (assuming Hockey Canada wouldn't be dumb enough to pass again) before making a call on whether or not he returns to junior in the new year.

Sennecke will put on more muscle for sure. Same with Solberg, I heard he's 212 lbs now. Imagine them when they are 23, going to be a force.
