Another top tier team with a ton of candidates to choose from. Who was their MVP this regular season? Let me know if I should add anyone

- 6th in goals among dmen (16)
-5th in +/- among dmen, 7th among all skaters (33)
- 26th in ATOI (23:22)

Matt Duchene
-leads team in points and 19th leaguewide (81)

Good that people are realizing now how important Miro is despite not putting up elite points

Definitely Heiskanen based on the teams recent (last 2 months) play, but the way Matt Duchene carried this team offensively (and still carries them in their transition game from their forwards) for half the season can't be ignored either so I'll throw my vote to him just for recognition's sake.

81 points in 78 games for him, which leads the team (besides Rantanen who doesn't really count). He turned the Stars PP around midway through as well. All for $3m lol. If he was on the top PP unit for the full year and had his linemates stayed healthy he probably would've been near 100 points

Heiskanen is obviously their best player, but hard to name someone team MVP when they are gonna miss 32 games unless the cast around him is really dire, which doesn't seem to be the case here irregardless of how the team has looked as a whole

I was thinking the same. He’s obviously their most important player overall but I don’t know if he’s so good as to make up the games played for this season’s MVP. Duchene has been their most consistent player imo and was one of the only ones scoring early when guys like Robertson and Johnston were slumping.

I go Duchene. With all the skilled players this team has, it's pretty impressive that the 34 year old who signed a low $$ deal just to play for a contender leads the entire team in points.

He's been all in with this team and deserves some praise.

While I get what you are saying, it just means he would be the MVP if he were healthy enough to play.
MVP is most valuable player.
It's Heiskanen.

The teams play before and after his injury prove it's him.
Missing 30 games doesn't change anything.
I'd give anyone else to have Heiskanen back in the lineup today.
Team is facing a 1st round exit without him.
