When asked about this incident, Cronin said that it never happened and that he barely knows Yandle at all.

“I don't know Keith that well,” Cronin said. “He’s from the Quincy area in Boston, I think, but I've really never crossed his path.

“I never recruited him. I don't remember ever recruiting him.
Never recall (doing that). I would never verbally berate anybody on a phone call on a recruiting thing.
Never heard of it. I remember—it might have been my first year (at Northeastern)—I think that Brendan Walsh was my recruiter and I think he took them out on the recruiting visit, but I would never verbally berate a player for not going to a school. That's his decision. We present what Northeastern is and whether it's him or anybody else, if they choose not to go there, I've always demonstrated class and professionalism and wish them luck.”

Interesting. I don’t picture Yandle to make it up but Cronin doesn’t strike me as the type either. Cronin has his issues but seems to me more like a stick his guns, my way it the highway type.

Also possible the wrong names are tied to that incident. Maybe Yandle thinks he spoke to Cronin but it was actually an assistant or the recruiter? 20 years is a long time, also possible Crones just doesnt remember the incident and he did do it. or.... hes trying to cover his ass now.
Honestly this would be my assumption.

Does verbeek demand a public apology from Keith yandle? Does Keith just apologize and move on with his life a more trusting better human being? Stay tuned… I want to see justice for Cronin here.

Yeah, he says he had a recruiter. So Sicard’s pull doesn’t add “another layer” at all.

On the Cam Fowler Trade thread “supposedly” Yandle said our pick Ian Moore would rather play in Alaska than for the Ducks.

So there is some real hate there. Whether it’s the Ducks or Cronin or both, I don’t know.

But something happened somewhere over the years.

It wasn’t really my intent of the comment either. It was more to state that our owners have big money - way more than they had 5 years ago and way more than most NHL owners. That’s a good thing for us theoretically
Henry Samueli is almost entrenched in the top 5 richest owners in ALL of professional sports, not just the NHL.

His estimated net worth is now higher than both Stan Kroenke (Rams) and Steve Cohen (Mets) as of recent Forbes estimates and Henry is now top 80 on the world's richest list.

I actually think something will change.

Right now every single player that Verbeek has acquired is failing.

Either he has missed the mark on all of them or the coaching is failing to get them to play at the level they are capable.

“Development” is overblown. I’m so tired of hearing that word.

They all know how to play. They just need to put in a position to succeed; and move past their youthful mistakes.

John
The Ducks have spent a decade unable to develop offensive talent, and since RC came in just play style has been a struggle.

Something isn't right here

I never voted for Ian Moore in the prospect polls, I don't count him given he's decided to do 4 years of NCAA.

Like my boss. The richer they get. the cheaper they get...
I'm a cowboys fan, really rich people care about making every dollar and making profit rather than doing whatever it takes to win. In the NFL the TV deals alone make every team profitable yet Jerry Jones regularly lies about the salary cap because he doesn't want to spend money

It's rare to have an owner like the Mets who's a fan of the team and wants to win more than make every cent
