Halliday has 23 points in his last 21 games.

Considering the big club is averaging less than 2 goals a game in 2025, seems like an obvious choice for a call up.
I imagine he will eventually get a callup, he now leads Belleville in scoring. He is another very interesting prospect & IMO could help the bottom six in Ottawa improve their offence output.

I don’t see him being effective in a bottom six role

Skating and strength
Regarding strength he is 6'4" & 212 lbs with a proper strength coach & Ottawa has some good ones I expect that will improve quickly. The same could apply to skating given our skating coach is pretty well thought of around here anyway. My concern with him deals more with his intensity, he reminds me a little of Logan Brown in that he has plenty of skill but doesn't seem to engage or show enough determination & drive at times or seems to take some shifts off. Again this can improve with coaching, but the individual has to want it.

I hope that if he can get some starts on the 4th line it will be up to him to improve on that, but with his skillset it could help with some offence to the bottom six. He has moved up to lead Belleville in scoring by a few pts & has started to separate himself from others. He should be awarded with a callup this yr & we should see how he does in the NHL. We should also remember he is only 22 yrs old & is still learning. Hope is not a strategy though & it has to come from the player, we'll see if he figures it out.

I’d love for his development to keep going, we need assets with trade value
