MODS....I thought there was another thread on this, but I couldn't find it. Please feel free to move this.

What do you guys have for point totals, now that we have acquired our second bonafide sniper in Laine?

Suzuki - 24g + 68a = 92 pts - Breakout + Selke nomination
Caufield - 40g + 31a = 71 pts
Slaf - 26g + 45a = 71 pts
Laine - 36g + 34a = 70 pts
Dach - 22g + 44a = 66 pts
Matheson - 7g + 48a = 55 pts
Newhook - 16g + 34a = 50 pts
Roy - 15g + 25a = 40 pts
Guhle - 13g +21a = 34 pts
Gally - 11g + 23a = 34 pts
Hutson - 7g + 24a = 31 pts
Dvorak - 9g + 17a = 26 pts
Armia 15g + 10a = 25 pts
Barron - 12g+12a = 24 pts
Anderson - 10g+13a = 23 pts
Evans - 5g + 16a = 21 pts
Xhekaj - 6g + 14a = 20 pts
Savard - 7g + 12a = 19 pts
Pezz - 4g + 12a = 16 pts

Total goals 285

* These totals are based on all players playing full 82 game schedule. I recognized that will not happen. Should they miss time, the numbers would be adjusted and the goals spread out amongst other players like RHP, etc. Obviously Pezz isn't playing full season, and Pinard will be somewhere in this lineup. My total team goal prediction is what I worked off, and really on the top 8-10 players are firmly predicted. The other players will share the remaining goal totals.

**285 goals is extremely lofty....I get it. It would put us 6th in team scoring last year, and likely means playoff birth this year. I believe in our playoffs hopes and I am the eternal optimist (until January). I also think Marty is an offensive minded coach. He now has the weapons to realize that potential.

Buckle up everyone!

I'm just going to go ahead and predict the top-10, as the rest is basically a crapshoot.

Suzuki - 25g + 50a = 75 pts
Caufield - 32g + 32a = 64 pts
Slaf - 22g + 39a = 61 pts
Laine - 33g + 21a = 54 pts
Newhook - 20g + 25a = 45 pts
Dach - 14g + 31a = 45 pts
Matheson - 9g + 35a = 44 pts
Anderson - 16g + 15a = 31 pts
Gallagher - 15g + 12a = 27 pts
Guhle - 5g + 22a = 27 pts

I don't think people realize how far we're coming from and how even this conservative prediction of mine would prove to be the best offensive year this team has had in an eternity.

Let me try this.

Suzuki 29 G 60 A 89 PTS
Caufield 38 G 30 A 68 PTS
Laine 35 G 32 A 67 PTS
Dach 20 G 38 A 58 PTS
Slaf 22 G 32 A 54 PTS
Matheson 10 G 40 A 50 PTS
Newhook 21 G 26 A 47 PTS
Hutson 6 G 29 A 35 PTS

Maybe a little overly optimistic, but WTH.

Bet365 has us +550 to get in playoffs. I put $100 we get in. I put $100 on Hutson winning Calder, +800. Put $100 on Laine scoring 30+. I think only way he doesn't is if injured.
