The new rule has little to do with Hage's situation. It has a big affect on the CHL, though, as NCAA teams can now poach players from that league. It will probably also have a major affect on the USHL, as players who are interested in going the NCAA route now have another option over that league. So, with the latest rule change in NCAA, Hage could join the training camp next year, right ?
Is he injured?

While the rule will help the CHL recruit 16 year olds who are interested in going the NCAA route, they will lose those top players earlier than currently happens. The net effect will be that the CHL will become a younger league - - albeit with more high end younger talent. So, there are advantages and disadvantages for the CHL.The rule helps the CHL and they are happy that it is being introduced as they were losing so many top prospects to other junior leagues because the kids did not want to ruin their NCAA eligibility.
The CHL will have all of the top Canadian kids as well as many top American juniors who would rather be in the CHL than the weaker USHL now up until they are 18-20. Some will leave at that point and some will stay but the net effect will be undeniably a positive one for the CHL.
The USHL is the league that is really going to suffer as they lost their only advantage over the CHL as an option for top junior aged players with NCAA aspirations.
he was but he should be back for tomorrow nights game.
Except a much better skater, plays defense , has about 20 pounds on Ribiero and strikes me as a guy who will be serious and hard working and likely a decent human being.Prime Mike Ribeiro
He's not lying though. He's nothing like Bennett. He's a Waterbug skater with elite skills. Eichel is a high bar and he's not as good but style wise, it could be. I also have Stutzle.Thank you for your contribution.
What are his weaknesses then? With a ceiling that interesting, why was he not picked top 10? Just asking. He's not lying though. He's nothing like Bennett. He's a Waterbug skater with elite skills. Eichel is a high bar and he's not as good but style wise, it could be. I also have Stutzle.

Great news. Where did you hear this?
Yes, very. Note that I haven't seen him this year. He was much better down the line at all of it. With that said I think it's the main thing that will keep him from being "the guy" because the skills are there. What are his weaknesses then? Is this accurate?
Concerns around his compete level have been raised by scouts as a potential impediment to his NHL future. At times, a lack of urgency has been noted in his game, something that can lead to him leaving opportunities on the table. Passivity can be disappointing to see when you know the player is capable of such dynamic displays, so the hope is that he can develop more of a killer instinct, and really take the bull by the horns while playing in the NCAA.
His defensive game was almost universally noted to have improved throughout last season, but this is something he’ll need to continue working hard at if he wants to play centre as a professional.
Hage has all the tools and skills to play in a top 6. He’s not gonna be a 3rd line guy.I'm not so sure about Hage playing in the top 6 (yet). If Demidov can be traded to another KHL. I would have loved to see him play at center. His play making skill is insanely high.
Dach-Demidov-Martone combo will be better.
Was it his shoulder again?

There is really no positive aspect for the USHL, though. That league can only get weaker due to this new rule.
