Yeah I'm just trying to think outside the box a bit, so we can keep Colton on the wing.Avs already have those , you need some balance on D too

i undestand , but if you remove the only D with toughness , hoping that you add that same toughness up front , you're just doing a Peter Griffin mistery box .Yeah I'm just trying to think outside the box a bit, so we can keep Colton on the wing.
Kastelic? Geekie?Bruins have a whole heap of middle six garbage to dispose of. Take your pick.
Just noticed that Cale turned 26 yesterday.
Double dip in Montreal for Evans and Savard. Retain/double-retain as necessary.Yeah I'm just trying to think outside the box a bit, so we can keep Colton on the wing.
Highly doubt they trade Evans, he's been one of their best player this season.Double dip in Montreal for Evans and Savard. Retain/double-retain as necessary.
Drouin - MacKinnon - Rantanen
Landeskog - Mittelstadt - Nichushkin
Colton - Evans - Lehkonen
Wood - Kovalenko - O'Connor
Ivan, Kelly, Kiviranta
Toews Makar
Girard - Manson
Ludwig - Savard
DeHaan, Malinski
Aside from last game - where he was clearly off and had his worst game of the season - Malinski has been great so far and doesn't deserve to be replaced. CHD on the other hand has got Greg Zanon hands and hasn't been good enough on most nights. I actually prefer Ludwig to him although it's been a small sample size.Double dip in Montreal for Evans and Savard. Retain/double-retain as necessary.

Sell?
Keep and rebuild around
LDOC2Use this opportunity to swing a trade for Drew O'Connor.
I prefer Ludwig because he can come closer to playing like JMFJ. He has good defensive instincts and should be able to pick up some PK minutes as well. I just think he balances the pairing out by being more (reliable?) two-way? defense rather than just offensive only.Aside from last game - where he was clearly off and had his worst game of the season - Malinski has been great so far and doesn't deserve to be replaced. I'm glad to see things improving for him. There was a time post Kadri, where I really wanted the Avs to go after him as a 2C candidate.Apparently hayton needed the change of scenery without moving divisions.
Yeah I wanted him as well, I still haven't really watched him, but looking at his stats it seems like he's producingI'm glad to see things improving for him. There was a time post Kadri, where I really wanted the Avs to go after him as a 2C candidate.
