I get it, but nobody thinks Wayne's legacy is tarnished for not staying in the same place for his entire career... In fact there is a case to be made that it's very seldom that you see it as a downside.

Honestly I can only think of 2 examples that hurt someone's legacy. Karl Malone (only because he didn't get a ring with the Lakers) and Kevin Durant - probably because he was just jumping team to team. But they are still all time greats, so I don't know
I don't think it's a matter of it tarnishing a legacy, but it absolutely adds to a legacy.

In the NBA, much has been made about Kobe Bryant, Dirk Nowitzki, Larry Bird, and Tim Duncan doing what they did with the same team their entire careers. The same will also be said about Steph Curry.

Same goes for the NHL with Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman, Mario Lemieux, etc.

Perhaps Sid wants to be in this category.

Agreed, it’s honestly unBerrable.
Ugh.

When does the NHL start playing games again?

I see the merit in both sides of this. But in the end, it's Crosby's decision.

Seriously though the lack of news and rumors is going to send all to early Graves
