I’d bet whichever team gets Miller is getting the best version of him for atleast the rest of this season. He’s out to prove everyone in Vancouver wrong once he’s out of there. I am starving for that type of attitude on this Avs team.

While I’m not a fan of JT Miller as a leader, teammate, etc…you don’t put up the numbers he has if he doesn’t care. He’s ultra competitive but goes about it in all the wrong ways.

I’m not saying it’s a perfect solution, not even close. However it could be the only high risk/high reward move this team needs to achieve their goal of winning the cup.

The reward is a one way, 80 point 2C. The risk is a higher paid Mittelstadt. Status quo also gets us nowhere.

Oh shit I forgot about Mercer. I'd include him in just about any trade as well. He hasn't met expectations. Haven't looked in a while but his underlying stats were very underwhelming, as were Alexander Holtz's (whom the Devils also gave up on).
