I am just shocked I have heard about some of the other college prospects but not much of Emery. As long as he is playing well and defensively responsible, that is all that matters although I am shocked by the lack of assists and I just hope he is getting enough ice time. That is important for his progression.

The production was not really an aspect of his game in previous years either. It's not like he all of a sudden stopped producing. It's just part of his game that he needs to develop. He's by far the youngest D-man on his team and ND has done really well in the past with the development of players so I am not concerned at this point.
