about as lifeless of a game as i've seen from bc in games i've caught since gabe got there. he's had a couple very nice setups that weren't finished on quick plays but other than that he's been pretty invisible. to be fair though, he also hasn't cost his team with any mistakes, and the entire team has been lifeless. uconn is playing their super bowl and i don't think bc took this game very seriously

Fortescue had an assist. Perreault was scoreless.

Laba was back in the lineup but had no points.

Emery, Kempf, Larsson, and Karpa were also scoreless. Quiet night for us in the NCAA.

Aspinall was out again. I assume he's injured. I don't do Twitter anymore so I haven't seen anything about him.

Boilard set up his brother's goal. He has 23 assists in 19 games, but just 4 goals.

Gredig had an assist.

Uneventful game for Perreault.

BC goalie (Jacob Fowler) got a 5 minute major and a game misconduct for throwing a jab/punch with his blocker.

UConn player got a 5 minute major and game misconduct for essentially using his glove and pushing a BC player's helmet off during a scrum.

Poor Rasmus Larsson. Sticks with Northern Michigan after Potulny leaves and now they're 1-10 and have been outscored 43-14. Shutout in 4 of their last 6 games.

Should he have tried to transfer?
Who knows. A lot of kids did transfer out of the program. I have no idea who if anyone was interested in him, although a recent NHL draft pick would surely have offers. There could have been other things tying him to the program.

EDIT: It also occurred to me that if he's here on a student visa it could be difficult to transfer schools, or require a certain amount of time that maybe he didn't have after Potulny left. That's just a guess based on my own work with players in the US on visas, but it could be.

That does in fact complicate things. Even for NHLers.

Daniel Sprong for instance, couldn't play for the Kraken right away after he was traded from the Canucks because he had to wait for his US work visa.
