For anyone that looks at the first post, I won't be updating it until the site settles. Anytime I edit it, it breaks the tables, and then I have to go back in and edit the code to unbreak them, and that's annoying.
did you copy paste this post from the last update? :)

They really need to get Laba to the AHL after his NCAA season has concluded to play with some higher quality guys. He and Lamb should be the reinforcements.
not sure Lamb will turn pro or not, well-regarded MN-bred Gopher, likely gets a letter

Gabe may

reminder Vaisanan is signed and will join Pack after Liiga season
Karpa may sign,
both Boilard and Aspinall likely PTO if Pack season outlasts theirs

Karpa is, and I say this as an ECAC fan, not an NHL prospect. He's an ECHL player. If we have a guy in the ECAC with AHL potential, it's Kempf as a Drew Bagnall 2nd pairing AHL type.

Lamb, unless the rules have changed, played a post draft season in th USHL, so I think we kind of have to sign him.

And yeah between Chmelar, Sykora, Vaisanan, it'll be crowded. No question.

my understanding,
as long as he is an enrolled NCAA student, NYR retain his rights,
it's not a simple as 'after 4 seasons'

even before Covid, that was true.
look at a guy like Jordan Samuels Thomas (now an NHL ref)
graduated a year after his original class, he had transferred,
but Jets retained his rights until summer after that "5th" year

Lots of games this weekend, Fri+Sat back to backs for everyone.

BC vs Providence @ 7pm both nights. Like n8 posted, Fortescue has 3 assists in his last 3 games. Perreault has 1 assist since the New Year along with 13 shots in 3 games.

Minnesota vs Notre Dame @ 7pm Fri, 5pm Sat. Lamb had a stretch of 3 goals in 3 games (12/13-1/3) but has 0 points in his last 3. 25 shots in those 6 games.

Colorado vs Minnesota Duluth @ 8pm Fri, 6pm Sat (I never remember if these times are auto-converted on the websites, could be 10pm and 8pm EST). Since the New Year, Laba is 1g-2a through 4 games. 16 shots, 63% on FOs (38-24) across 62 taken in the 4 games this year. Across the season it looks like he does pretty well in the dot.

NoDak vs Western Michigan @ 7pm Fri, 6pm Sat (could be 8/7pm EST). Tough to give any sort of stat or play update on Emery because I don't catch many of his games and he doesn't really put up points..but he's getting some shots on goal basically every game and has only taken 4 penalties all season. No penalties in his last 7 games going back to Thanksgiving.
