"You take the best player available, but the character has to be there too."

So BA is saying he never would have drafted Mitch Miller. Good to know.

Gregor Biber is doing well for Austria at WC. He plays such a responsible game for his age. He's already a pretty good stay-at-home defenseman and I'm pretty sure that he'll make his way into the NHL. The question is when: I think he'll see NHL ice sooner than later.

You've landed hell if a steal for a 4th round pick. Now if he can add a solid shot to his skillset, he could outpreform many, many prospects from his draft class.

He ran around a bit and had the deer in the headlights look at times but thats to be expected considering the relative level of competition. Your point stands, it looks like a steal in the 4th round. I would expect his parh to include another year or 2 in Sweden before transitioning to NA in the AHL. Hopefully his upward trajectory continues. As you implied his puck skills need to catch up to his burgeoning defensive skill.

I agree this is bound to happen. Just have to live with it. The players Bill chooses to keep will typically outperform the ones he chooses to shed.

There certainly is potential to package for a top player...especially to a rebuilding team.

I suspect most teams will ask for Iginla and Lamoureux in any trade.
