They posted some stats during the broadcast last night that got me thinking. Caps were #1 in several different categories on the road, including record.

I had a few funny ideas but they don't tie in with what's happened during the season that well.

Additionally, 895 would be great but I don't think the playoffs should focus on that individual milestone. Maybe a nod somewhere in the gif, but not the whole gif.

So now I'm leaning toward ROAD WARRIORS.

Hi there. I seldom post (my avi should give a clue as to the last time I did was--and I changed it to this from the "Unmasking Villains--Tom Wilson?!?!" avatar that was the 2018 playoffs one), but I do love the amazing playoff avis you all come up with! I hope you don't mind me putting my two cents in.

There have been a lot of solid ideas in this thread, and I had a thought I wanted to share that plays on several of them.

Defiance! It's a twist on the "misfit toys" or dumpster diving concepts, but capped off with something like "Just watch me [us]"

HF Boards said Ovi would never break Wayne's record. "Just watch me." or just 895 and the belly flop pic.
The hockey world said Tom Wilson was just a goon and wouldn't be a legit scorer. "Just watch me." or just his 30+ goal total over a pic of Tom cellying.
Kings fans said PLD was a "locker-room cancer" and would never live up to his contract. "Just watch me" or just his career high totals or ridiculous shutdown stats.
The Athletic said "the window was closed" show the Caps atop the East (or League) standings...

Etc, etc.

That said, I also love the idea to use The Wire, especially since Baltimore is Caps country.
