I was only able to really pay attention to the end of the game but in that short time I saw Jaylen make some fantastic, all star-level plays that helped them hold on.
I saw the same but the game is not just a few minutes in the end it us about the entire time process. As I said I just don't see how he and Tatum get equal credit when Tatum did it all minute after minute. Stats tell a story as well. Thanks EverettMike, on to the next one this Friday.

What a good game by Jaylen Brown. I tried to watch on my phone. I got lost ar times but we would not have won without Brown I think

Way to go Celtics

League has to get the end of close games under control now that every team has figured out to just foul if you're up 3. It already took like 5 minutes to finish the final 30 seconds of a close game, now it's even longer.
Simple solution, 3 foul shots if fouled behind 3 point line. With that said Celtics lost this game not the refs or league. Can’t see why they don’t bury the Cavs, they have much more talent on their roster

If any of those teams wins the Tournament it will be the closest they get to raising a Championship banner this season.

So the Celts didn't qualify? Oh the horror.
The NBA Cup is beyond dumb. If you want to rip off European soccer at least have a format that doesn't eliminate the best team in the NBA from the competition for losing one group game. 3-1 in group play and eliminated on point differential is just stupid. Or if you want to incorporate point differential then you need to have all teams playing at same time on final night of group play. Come up with something better. I'd even take no group play at all. Seed the NBA Cup like an NCAA tournament and start it halfway thru the season based on current standings. I don't know.

On this note I need to see coaches/players start designing plays where you are immediately going up for the three point attempt. Pritchard had a chance to do that the other night but he hesitated. I agree though. The end of that Cavs game was just a terrible product. Nobody wants to watch that. First and foremost, a team should be able to decline the trip to the line in favor of just taking the ball out of bounds. That seems very simple to me. I think you will see some ideas in the coming years to tackle this.

I don't know if you stole this from someone else but I have to say that this is actually a brilliant idea. You'd probably have to limit that to the last two minutes or something like that but I like it. It still leaves some strategy in that if it's Jaylen Brown with the ball you still might want to foul him instead of letting him take a 3.
