I’m sorry but SGA is overrated. Plays zero defense

SGA is a ok to good defensive player. He is not Michael Jordan, but at the same time he is not Luka Doncic. He lead the league in steals last season, and averaged 1 block a game. He's at worst a mid level defensive player

Never seen a team that has such terrible stretches of crap defense and bad shooting

They outplayed OKC in the first half by taking advantages of mismatches on offense. OKC at time had Isiah Joe on Porzingas, and Porzingas, and others abused Joe. Celtics seemed to stop paying this and went back to heaving up the first available 3 point shot most possessions.

Not sure why bad shooting is so contagious with them

Celts have no other game than hucking 3’s. No versatility to them offensively. Yet they’re still the top team in the league

OKC are a good team
They are a good team but they weren’t better today. I want to see the official report tomorrow to see if they acknowledge they screwed up the call against White and missed the call on Holiday.

Celtics cannot go cold like that. They beat themselves today.

Living here you’d think he was the second coming of LeBron. No one is willing to point out the weak parts of his game either. I think he’s a solid player but he needs to work at being the complete package especially when injuries arise.

He's a top 5 guy in the NBA no questions asked and has elevated his team to top 3/5. He's the definition of complete.

Feel like he’s kinda doing that already (Chet’s been out for awhile)

He’s probably the mvp favorite at the moment

He’s a monster but Denver hasn’t been dominant and the voters might have Jokic fatigue

Vegas has Shai -130 and Jokic +130 at the moment

The voters clearly showed they had Jokic fatigue when they gave the MVP to Embid. Not to say Jokic can't win, but in my opinion he can't win if it's remotely close, an there is going to be a very good argument for SGA this year (if he stays healthy)

If the Thunder win the Western Conference , which everyone agrees is far deeper than the east by 10-15 games, and SGA continues to average 30+ points, he'll win the MVP . Denver's already 9.5 gams out of first, and could easily finish the year 20+ games out.

He’s a good player but he’s got deficiencies that people here just ignore which is frustrating. Sports radio isn’t really a thing here so I have to rely on the national shows to provide a more realistic assessment.

He’s my pick to win but I’m skeptical that he will.

Ant Man having his team in 10th place also helps SGAs case for MVP.

OKC and Boston are on a collision course to meet in the finals pretty much annually for the next 5 years as of right now. Celtics definitely won't have home court if they meet this year.

I hope so because then I might be able to go.
