young player , head down, boom, don`t like Trouba but good hit and Barron has to be aware precisely who he`s attacking on that side of the ice

What's sad is there was a time where a player would instinctually know to brace for contact in that situation. Like you know it's coming, doesn't matter who is the defending player.

Instead what you have today is a generation of young players who do not expect to get hit. They make plays or put themselves in dangerous positions/situations with no fear of getting rocked. It's epidemic in the sport now and with the way things are going it will only get worse not better with how hitting is being weeded out essentially at the amateur levels.

Leafs get pumped by Jackets, come out flat vs Blues and get pumped again, B`s playing some pretty fugly hockey themselves, not expecting one for the ages Saturday night

Jets vs Pats on ice

Im watching the Utah pre-game broadcast on ESPN+. There is a guy using a hockey stick as a pointer showing us on video board what the positions do. 1st pair defensemen are your most reliable and play the most minutes. Do they not have TVs or internet out there?
