NHL 2024- 2025 Out of Town III:

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Matt Grzelcyk with his 32nd assist last night.

On a team that has superstars like Karlsson (-20), Letang (-13), Crosby (-20) and Malkin (-21), old buddy Grz is a -4. Pens don't have a guy that has played at least 15 games that is a plus player.

Maybe regular season Grzelcyk was a much bigger contributor than any of us thought.

Regular season Grizz was solid for the most part. He just got squashed in the playoffs more often than not. Had a hard time handling the intensity and was probably playing every postseason injured because of it.

Regular season Gryz was a very good contributor who worked very well with McAvoy. I always said so. I think Charlie misses him. Playoffs were always the issue.

So not surprised Matt has done a decent job in Pittsburgh. Happy for him.

Pens were selling at the deadline and no playoff team wanted him.
I'll agree thst he was good in the regular season, but he has big rabbit ears thst go up when intensity goes up. I don't want a player that you can't count on when it gets tough.

This. The guy was dangled out there at the deadline and no one even took a flyer.
