NHL 2024- 2025 Out of Town III:

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. That's true. On the Caps you hear different opinions as to how good they really are. I'm not sure they're a serious Cup contender, but I do think they'll comfortably dispatch any of the potential WC teams.

It should have been the Bruins meeting Washington . They were never the same team after the Christmas break . The teams vying for a spot are pretty mediocre and even if the Bruins had been average after the break they would have made it . The wheels completely fell off.

Which many here predicted would happen once the calendar turned to 2025 and the Bruins schedule got a lot tougher.

That little blip when the turned to Sacco was one of the worst things to happen to this team. They'd be down where they belong, in the Bottom 5, with a chance of 1st overall in the draft if not for them defeating a pile of mediocre opponents right after Sacco took over.

yeah, but the Bruins were really bad this year. Like bad enough for me to know they had no shot in hell to make it pass round 2. No offense and their goaltending was never trustworthy this year. Never had confidence in them in net.

Right. He thinks the puck is being lifted high at his face, so he goes down to avoid it. The puck drops and hits him instead.

Shit happens.

Scrolled past what was seemingly a clickbait article on FB, that said likely expansion coming, including Atlanta.

I haven’t paid much attention to the coverage of the GM meetings, but please tell me they’re not going to try Atlanta again!
