2024- 2025 Out of Town III: OUT of TOWN TRADE TALK HERE

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Robertson makes it 3-1 in Vancouver, 'Nucks one point behind Calgary for the second wild card.

Forbert with his first goal since God knows when.

Debrusk ice time drops as he slips into his usual malaise. Jake now at -12.

From the coach:

“You gotta to earn your ice time,” Tocchet said when asked a question about ice time given to Pettersson, DeBrusk, and Boeser.

“You gotta earn your ice time around here, it’s how you win. You guys can stir it up all you want, you have to earn your ice time. I don’t care how long you’ve been here, you gotta earn your ice time.”

“That’s the way it works; that’s how you win Stanley Cups.”

Nice to see the accountability

Ekblad got suspended 20 games for a violation of Performance Enhancing Substances Program. That's a no no.

Meanwhile the GM in Colorado has been hit with a very high head shot from Robby Roids.

I’ll find it and embed, but basically said that Rantanen said he’d play for four teams and CAR was not one. Rob says “should have known that before the trade”.

Job opening coming up!?!

Sorry. Can’t get it to link. Thread on MainBoards has video.

I think the GM in Colorado is fine with their return. It’s Tulsky he was taking a shot at.

Ekblad getting popped for allegedly taking something while having to recovery from injury is incredibly believable, if not almost sad in a way.

The guy has all the compete in the world and his body just continually fails him. Only 28 too so the math says it's not gonna get better on that front.

Glad he got 20 games. Taking things without checking with the team doctors is straight up careless. I’m also glad he’s taking accountability and not fighting it.

I’d love to know what he took, especially if it is some sort of supplement like these influencers hock all over social media these days because the supplement market unregulated in the states. It is truly scary.

Can NHL players get NAD drips under the current rules? If not that's what I'm guessing.

I don’t know and I’m sure the list of banned substances changes over time.

I know people have been pushing adaptive mushroom coffee/tea/supplements as a way to reduce inflammation, improve mood and focus etc. I wonder if it could be something as simple as adding a supplement without proper vetting.

Like I said in my post, with the supplement and wellness industry remaining unregulated, I can see something as simple as NAD drips or supplements that would cause a positive test.

It's definitely a crapshoot but still with how widespread ped use is in the league they are more so punishing getting caught over using.
