Montreal has now passed us, a loss today coupled with the rangers winning their next and they will pass us as well leaving us 11th in the conference.

That he did.

Rempe just eats big shots. In the old days having cement in your skates was a badge of honor. Now I think it just ups the risks of CTE ten fold.
Rempe kind of got the jump on him too, throwing a few punches before Xhekaj got his gloves off. Took a couple of solid lefts though. I think that kid's going to have a rough future with the quantity and impact of the head shots he takes. :shakehead

Bruins keep seeing More and more taillights

Our season basically went down the drain on Saturday. I watched the whole game at the Sunset on Comm. Ave., and when the Sens tied it late, the bar, which was packed with people attending the BU-UNH game across the street, let out a big "OOOH!". What would have been an important win, standings wise and emotion wise, got turned upside down.

Yep. This season is reminding of the 2015-16 season the last time the bruins missed the Play-Offs. Rask gets sick on the last day and the Bruins lose to the Sens to be eliminated. Only thing is there's a lot more teams in the running for that final wild card spot this year.

Would never outright condone any deliberate head contact, but Garland absolutely had that coming. Was all over McDavid like a cheap suit. End of the day he lost his temper and has to pay for that, but pretty understandable in the circumstances.
When that happened first thing I thought was, Orr would have dropped his stick and gloves and beat the guy to Pulp.

I never like seeing anyone take liberties out on someone with their stick, would have had a lot more respect for McDavid if he’d just dropped his gloves, even if he got his @$$ kicked.

Today’s 2 points was crucial if you look at the standings. Worst case scenario, Montreal wins tomorrow and are tied with the Bruins with a game in hand. Or Montreal wins is two points ahead with a game in hand .
