Interesting take. I don't think you are wrong. He's probably at peak value right now. They will probably wait it out though. They are a team that has finally turned the corner (seemingly). They have a few years left before being forced to make that decision. The potential reward likely isn't worth the risk.

I think Rempe is a mallet head and this sucks for Gryz, but cant really fault Rempe here. given where play was and how puck was rimming around boards, I make that hit as well. Huge size discrepency leads to a bad ending.

Say what you want about his bro, I can definitely see how MT could rub fans the wrong way but Brady is easily a top 5 captain in the league on top of being an absolute menace, seeing how he motivated Mac all tourney was great and he was the first guy to embrace Mac after he read the lineup, you could tell he takes being a teammate very seriously. I'm not sure there is a player I'd like to have in the spoked B more.
