Saying the team is struggling to score this season is ten million light years away from saying we should have kept Ryan f***ing Donato.

Yes. We should have kept him. We should have predicted that six years after we traded him that he would finally put up his first 20 goal season in a year where we knew we’d be offense deprived. The lack of foresight is astounding.

You know, I was planning to slam my head in my car door tonight. But now I don’t have to.
Yea we need these 200 ft players throughout entire lineup.I find it funny though how bums like Beecher sticks around and he could not put a puck in the ocean. My comment might be a bit off the cuff but my point was more about guys capable of scoring fking goals

An argument for a better diversity of skillset… more speed and offensive creativity on the top nine and off the blueline. And not requiring every forward to be a Selke candidate in order to get playing time?

You and I could not be in stronger lockstep agreement with any of it.

I wouldn’t even send Beecher a qualifying offer this offseason.

Better to have kept Danton Heinen and his 17 goals last season than to have kept Donato. Boston got the far better of that trade with MIN. Point taken on scoring, though, and it's strange they let Heinen walk, and even worse, JDB, without getting something for him at the deadline if they knew he was moving on.
