The “Shane Wright is a bust” talk from Habs fans earlier this season is funnier now that he’s tied Slafkovsky with 29 points so far.

New Anonymous NHL Player Poll just came out in the Athletic. Interesting....

I find it funny that Babcock isn't even coaching in the League, and players are still shitting on him....

Went to the caps v cats game last night. Cats looked so sloppy all night. Definitely still a contender but they don't have the same aura they did the past two seasons. Their defense has gotten significantly worse and not as in your face. I suspect they will gain another gear for the playoffs though.

Anonymous NHL player opinions on the 4 Nations Tournament. 111 player sample, 16 of them are actually playing in the tournament.

I'm a little disappointed to see US players at the bottom of the list. Speaking for myself, I'll watch it. But the only game I really care about are the ones we play against Canada.

This doesn't surprise me. The Finns seem like they'll get up for anything at the international level. Their love for Hockey is damn near boundless.

Shame they're so banged up coming into this though.

The Jets being at the unquestioned top of the no trade list also doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

Winnipeg isn't that bad of a place to live. A lot of the guys who came up being drafted and start their careers here tend to like it enough to stick around. Therein lies the problem though. Those guys have to play here to start. UFA/ trade targets has their say of where they go generally speaking, no one is willingly going to choose Winnipeg over a New York, LA or Florida city.

Cassidy is WORSE than Babcock, impressive.
Not so sure about that. Babcock hasn't been behind the bench in an NHL game since 2019. He had 2 months at Columbus but never made it to the regular season, and players STILL don't wanna play for him.

That kind of reputation lingers worse than a bad fart......
