This is what you do every time your captain / leader / Assistant captain gets hit like this. No, "it was a clean hit", no "we were down 1 and only 7 minutes left to play".... Nic Hague could play on my team any day of the week.
Agreed. Actually, I would like more of both of that on our team. Nasty hit with purpose and someone then standing up for your Captain.

I tuned into the Sens/Preds game via radio about 6-7 mins ago as a Sens goal was reviewed for goalie interference and after it was finally confirmed there was goalie interference and no goal on the play, the Sens challenged that there wasn’t actually GI it took another 3-4 minutes to determine……that there was still goalie interference. What a waste of time that was.

It’s bullshit. Without a third review by independent arbiters how are we to really really know if it was GI or not? Puts a cloud over the whole game. I think the results of this game should be held for a week while they look further.

Caught the Sens/Preds since it was the only game.

Watching the Preds is like watching the Bruins, right down to their jersey color. I remember last summer when both teams made big splashes in free agency jokingly thinking that should these teams meet in the Final, it would be a task distinguishing the teams, due to the aforementioned similar colored uniforms.

Clearly that won't be an issue. ;)

As much as the B's have underwhelmed, the Preds have more so. I don't know what the lessons are - you can't build a winner through free agency? Be wary investing in older players? Consider the supporting cast when looking at a players' stats?

And yes, that goal review was interminable. At some point they might as well just flip a coin.
