They need to just trade off their FAs. Figure out what Marchand is doing. If he wants too much or may retire, or anything that is uncertain he would be the biggest fish at the deadline you might have to bite the bullet and trade him

But the Bruins could have demolished that return. Absolutely slaughtered it. And it still would have made the team better now and in the future.

We don’t know if Sweeney cared to try, or if Miller cared to consider Boston.

I don’t believe for one second JT Miller was on the Bruins radar, he was interested in coming here or Sweeney has any constraints on deals from above, or Chara wants to be GM

Children have been born and are in college since the Bruins were this poor

Retooling with luck and good fortune they be right there next season because the players they would keep are pretty good

I don't think so. We're going to see trades here in the next month. If Sweeney wasn't allowed to make trades he'd already be out. Cam and Charlie love the guy. He delivered 8 good seasons, they're not burning their house down over 1 bad one.
