OUCH ...It was a knee-on-knee hit behind the net. He continued playing for a bit, though visibly hobbled, before making his way to the bench.
Carter Yakemchuk has given the Senators’ pool the high-end prospect it has lacked since Tim Stützle and Jake Sanderson’s graduations, but they’ve got very little in the cupboards behind him (without Yakemchuk, this might be the thinnest, weakest group in the league).
I debated slotting the Senators lower here, but Yakemchuk — the best prospect in the countdown so far — props them up. There’s work to do for Steve Staios, though.
