They have like 5 shots in 27mins of play? Something like that. Florida had 3 goals on 5 shots. Lol. You aren't winning shit like that.

They look lost. Like full on blitzed, double teamed, trapped, etc. Every sports analogy or concept to being shut the f*** down - they are.
I asked one of my not so hockey savvy neighbors (watching in my man-garage tonight) and he said it looked like a deer in the headlights. Couldn't have said it better.

Florida is creating a dynasty as we are speaking, they got the cap space to keep it together and still competent core. Only position they need to think again is goaltending as they traded away Knight. If they win SC again I consider their run even better than Lightning's 19-22. But I still think Dallas will beat them if they both make it. So go Dallas!

Nah. 11 series wins > 8 series wins.

Two cups, but go deep off the back of winning two. Sure they flipped it to the front but we ran 11 series straight at the end of the day. Not to mention a 62 win season the year prior, Hart, 2 CS (they don't have one) and a few other nominations along the way.

If you're only basing it off cups - draw. Obviously biased but I dont see how Florida's run is better than ours in any facet.

Yeah but cOvId CuPs!!1

You said everything about CAl, I dont need to add anything, but this 1st penalty for Svechnikov? Its an everyday play for Florida what Svech did and refs dont even care about it, this is BS

Got back from the gym and saw the canes - f***tards game was tied. Thought oh nice I’ll pop it on.. Florida immediately scores fml

I have sort of a mercy rule for watching the World Championships. If a team gets up 5-0, then it's probably just garbage time the rest of the way.

Is this going to apply to the NHL playoffs?

Florida being this rapacious does make our loss against them look a little bit more defensible, but there's still two obvious problems (among others):

1) it's f*ckin' Florida, how the tables truly have turned from 3-5 years ago
2) they're gonna remain an obstacle for us as long as they're either this good, or the playoff format remains that we're guaranteed to need to beat them in the first two rounds to get further in the playoffs

At least we "only" had one game where they truly shoved our shit in the way they did. Carolina's just gotten that three games in a row.

Ugh, Canes putting in a total no-show performance so far, while the Western series could be a long one. This is unfortunately Panthers cup to lose, still hoping Dallas can pull it through (..or even Oilers).
