The nhl has given to panthers the green light in multiple series to target the head. I am waiting for someone to knock out some panthers aka rat pack since their nhl franchise had to steal the mascot from the original south Florida panthers fiu .

Yeah how kulikov is not banned from the league is absolutely insane you watch replays and he litereally leads with hus elbow non stop

That doesn't mean we wouldn't have won with an average goalie. We likely would have. He won the Conn Smyth because he had great numbers and played great, but that doesn't mean we wouldn't have won with average goaltending. I think we would have. He wasn't stealing games or anything.

An average goalie might have lost the Isles series. He stole Game 3, and we needed a shutout in Game 7 since we only scored 1 goal.

I think we played a little lazy vs. The isles. It felt like the most "in control" seven game series I've ever seen.

I just think we were a lot, lot better than everyone that year.

I just think the jury is in on how necessary a star goalie is. And if ever there was a team that would likely win without one, it was us. We had Hedman, McDonagh, or Sergachev on the ice at all times.

That said, we need 5star Vasy a lot more now than we did then.

Hey if there is a mod around I've got a question. Nothing to do with the Tampa board or anyone here.

Who is moderating the Leafs Panthers GDT on the main boards? Because I was having my posts deleted over and over and eventually my posting privileges were taken away there. No warnings or anything.
Now I know I have a history but NOTHING I posted was bad or troll like in any way.

There are also people posting there that have been saying things that would get me perma'd with no consequences. If you see this I'd like to know what mod it is. Are they a florida fan? Or something.

domi is a massive piece of shit but at least he went for his pound of flesh, bolts had every reason to start running the cats last series and they just rolled over

Marner has to be the softest lackadaisical star player I’ve ever seen play.

Point was up there this year but f*** man marner is hard to watch

Yeah, the refs have lost control of it. Or the league, I guess. Sooner or later the players will police themselves, and with fighting becoming less of a factor, it's gonna be dirt for dirt.

This was prior to the panthers we play now those islanders played hold and slow down hockey. Defenders were always interfering and what not. Tampa fan knows that Mayfield was a bane and annoying defensive player to play against.

Wednesday night winner probably takes the series IMO. The Man Garage will have a couple of guys over to watch. Plenty of Suds and Detroit pizza.

If Toronto beats Florida I think they'll win it all. This is exactly the kind of series they can't seem to mentally break through.

That said, I'm still picking Florida. They're just a nightmare of a team.
