Pretty sure EF was saying Thursday, how he sees an expansion team going back to the desert in 3 years. Obviously once there's a new arena in place.
 
Also just wanted to point out that when Murray plays for the Leafs in the postseason they will have also pulled a Vegas
 
If you guys go on Twitter leafs fans are starting the Matthews for Hart and Selke discourse. Never seen such delusion in all my years. Even had one guy say: Barkov is only better on Pk on defense. :laugh:

NHL boosts salary cap to $88 million for 2024-25 season | TSN

The National Hockey League's team salary cap is getting a significant boost, increasing by $4.5 million to US$88 million next season.

Bettman was asked about the Panthers getting a game at LoanDepot Park, home of Major League Baseball's Miami Marlins.

"I haven't been there, but I understand it's very nice," he said with a smile.

"And it also has a roof and is air conditioned. I'm not going to break any news today, but we are mindful of the fact that at some point it would be good for the Panthers to be in an outdoor game. We continue to explore options."

Big thing is, it has a roof. That protects it from any sun and precipitation.

Right, it's the official temporary name lol. Until the next off-season when they have a fan vote for the official permanent name.

IDK, I have mixed feelings about these corporate decisions to "let the fans decide"... Nice gesture I guess but it also has the potential to turn south if they accept write-ins. Get ready for the Utah Teamy McTeamFace.
