Samuelsson got injured out of nowhere. So it turns out that Tach injured Tage? It's clear that it wasn't on purpose, but it's some kind of bad luck.Samuelsson:
Tage (highly speculative):
With how slow it takes NHL teams to say whats wrong I wouldn't be surprised if Lindy is waiting for the fortune cookies with his lunch to determine the medical diagnoses. No update on injuries from Lindy on wgr this morning, both players will be evaluated by team Doctors later this morning and he should know more around Noon today.
the team needs to hit and outmuscle these upcoming teams w or without tage to get there own swagger and winWith how slow it takes NHL teams to say whats wrong I wouldn't be surprised if Lindy is waiting for the fortune cookies with his lunch to determine the medical diagnoses.
I hope this is just another case of Rivet not having any idea what he's talking about. While we are certainly not Cup contenders, the team still has a legit chance to make the playoffs, which would be considered a successful season. Certainly, they can be in the wildcard race all year. Without Tage, even that seems like a pipe dream.Rivet hinted that that the Thompson injury will be long term. Sucks bad but this team didn’t have a chance anyway so here’s to next season.
KA gets to keep Levi around for another week or so until the back deck is finished.Well if Luukkonen is day-to-day, I would think they put Sammy on his usual spot on IR and claim Reimer.
Yup. Figured Sammy would get injured again. Tage being day to day is great news. I just hope it isn't something that lingers. Seems like he has something lingering that impacts his play every year.Well if Luukkonen is day-to-day, I would think they put Sammy on his usual spot on IR and claim Reimer.
That would make sense. We'll see if Adams agrees.Well if Luukkonen is day-to-day, I would think they put Sammy on his usual spot on IR and claim Reimer.
To all the rumor mongers and twitter docs and . . . instigators.Good news on Tage, just hope it's not something he has to nurse longer term that brings his play down once he comes back.
Also a big FU to all the rumor mongers and twitter docs!
We honor you brother for your poignant words that represent all of us here at hfbroads ( we hopefully earning to keep or find the best in belief) .Good news on Tage, just hope it's not something he has to nurse longer term that brings his play down once he comes back.

Playoff hockey? He can't do it regular season for two months without injury.Does anybody think Samuelsson's body can hold up if the Sabres ever play playoff hockey? I don't
he means trading samuelson and a 1st for a D man that's won in that thing they call the postseasonPlayoff hockey? He can't do it regular season for two months without injury.

Well put TD.Getting hurt in a scrum is.. rare, let’s say that.
I don’t think it’s his body so much as he just doesn’t have good positioning for injury avoidance- amounts to the same thing, I guess, but I think there’s a skill in avoiding the hurt.
As to Tage- same thing to a much lesser degree- I remember Brandon Jacobs, this 265 pound monster running back for the Giants, and the announcer said “he gets hurt more because there’s more body there to hurt. The impacts are bigger, injury prevention doesn’t really scale with size”- somethin to that effect, and I’ve always found it interesting. I assumed bigger dudes would be more injury-averse, but it’s possible the opposite is true. A 5’10” dude can move his leg outta the way quicker, and there’s less leg to move. If there is impact, it’s not as great. Thus we should bring back Danny Briere, thank you for your time.
