I don't think there is anything wrong with Blackwood. CBJ should be the main match of this b2b, makes sense for Blackwood to have that.

Because we have the capspace to do it, there are no roster limitations anymore (# of players), so why not. We are going to start carrying a third goalie soon anyway, Annunen started to hang out with the team around this time in 2022 no?

Bedsy has alluded to this in the past. He did it on gamedays sometimes too, going with the #3, so one of the goalies could just totally take the day off, and not even think about hockey if they don't have to.

I believe these are called a double day off.
First time I heard Bedsy say that term it through me for a loop. Apparantely a day off doesn't mean they don't go to the facility and still do video, weights, etc. I thought a day off was a day off. But it's not. It's just a day off the ice.
Unless it's a double day off. And that means you get to sleep in and play COD and eat chickpea pasta all day to rest and recuperate.

Workouts make sense, but did he say they still do video? I recall him saying something along the lines of not wanting them to even think about hockey. Not just a day to rest physically but mentally.

I think what we are seeing is BBW being given a double day off. A day off from everything. Much like what I would call a Sunday. Only thing I have to do on Sundays is exist.
