Why the f*** would they do a f***ing documentary about Landy if he's not coming back? It's the trailer to the movie folks, the Captain is coming back.
I haven't seen any of the Landy footage, but couldn't it also be one of those sob story movies where the last thing he's able to do on ice is lift the Cup no matter all the things he's tried to get himself back in the lineup

You need clarity. The Avs probably have such clarity but they ain't telling you or "us" shit. Why should they? Why does anyone else need to know how they are thinking about his future? That would change trade dynamics, that would change roster dynamics, that would change a lot of things that don't need clarity for anyone outside the building. For LTIR purposes it could really be negative so of course they keep it to themselves.

Most of these dozens of pages of posts are just I want to know because I'm a fan and I deserve it. Guess what? You don't get to know anything. Just accept it.

Damn goosepimples listening to Landy mention he's envisioned stepping back on many times. And then he goes on to talk about how much of a home Denver is and how he grew up in the Can.

We might not be the premier destination for mid 20 UFAs.... but when you hear the best Captain the western conference has had in over a decade say how much Denver means to him. That's gotta make you smile, right?
