Yep. A few years back, I dislocated my right thumb just pulling a laptop out of a backpack. Still hurts and swells up all the time. Really manly...

This past August, I popped something in my right pec/neck/shoulder just bending over and cutting branches with a pair of loppers. Still going to PT for it 5 months later.
Keep going, or continuing on your own for as long as it takes and don't be afraid to ask your PT questions, especially if you feel it's taking too long.

My issues actually came from being young and not knowing better. Got hurt but not "that bad" and my body healed compensating for it. A bad knee caused my hips to compensate and they basically healed in their new position. These things don't always really show themselves as anything other than aches and pains you work through for most your life until one day in your 30s you fart and herniate a disc. Non-stop back issues since.

Two things have helped tremendously. I went to a PT for about a six months and had her teach me a bunch of yoga stances and routines to get the hips to open back up allowing proper alignment from my feet all the way back up to my skull. The second was when I dropped about 40 pounds rapidly. Reducing the weight in my front, helped by taking the load off my back tremendously. I just recommend a different weight loss regime. :sarcasm:

I can relate. I slipped on the ice last fall and thought I broke my hip. I couldn’t sit right for two weeks. I pulled a shoulder muscle passing a pot of potatoes across the table a while back. It sucks getting old haha.
I jacked my shoulder pretty bad blocking a spike at volleyball 3-4 weeks ago. It's still been hurting, even turning the steering wheel in the car will make it scream. Since then I have to block with my other arm, and last week I blocked with my good arm and it still hurt my injured one
. Even worse is that the guy still scored so I got hurt again for nothing lmao
