Could drouin got a soft tissue injury that had to have the swelling come down a bit before they noticed. I’m not a doctor

He died… the Avs just don’t want to release the news. I am a doctor.

Drouin has been a band-aid at the NHL level for some time, so the injuries are to be expected

This shit is getting better and better every day....

Now there is a meeting on 28th and they "get a plan" after that....

Means setback to me. See ya next season Lehky. :thumbu:
Bednar was talking about the 28th before the season started. So it's nothing new on that front.

As for something positive, Lonzo Ball apparently played yesterday (though it was a pre-season game) and looked extremely good. He had the same procedure as Landeskog, but two months? prior. So maybe we can be cautiously optimistic in seeing Landy before the end of the calender year... And also that he might come back looking ok.

I think Landy's timing is going to be way off and he's going to have to really work at game conditioning.

That being said, just for a moment allow yourself to imagine a fully restored knee for Gabe...and the fact that he's had two complete years off and has been able to completely heal all the little nagging and bothersome things that buildup and contribute to players declines. He's going to be healthier than he's been in a long, long time. Father time is undefeated, but I think Landy has a few more good years left in him.

Optimistically, I think he's still second line talent but would rather see him on the 3rd while getting adjusted back.

Thanks, but no way I'm clicking that link
Almost as bad as one of our employees here having to attend a funeral for his wife's grandmother. We found out later she died when a piece of a q-tip broke off in her ear and eventually led to infection and then sepsis, which killed her.
