I juet feel awful for how Tucker's season had to end. For a guy who was written off by most of the board a year and a half ago (myself included) as a career AHLer or at best 7th or 8th defenceman, he sure played well above that level once Monty came on board. He chipped in some big goals down the stretch and established himself as a physical presence willing to step in front of hot rubber. I'm not too sure how much growth he has left, this is probably pretty much what he is, but on a team with a solid top 4, he seems to have a path to be in a top 6 and at worst a 7th d-man. His growth makes me curious if we should hold off on calling Kessel a lost cause as he's had a similar arc that Tucker had after getting called up, struggling, then being sent down and coming back a more well rounded player.
