Kucherov as our playoff avatar is one of the best ideas I've ever seenI think we need a playoff avatar to piss the rest of the board. Flashes of Gretsky and Kucherov with COVID cups flashing with them changing pictures back and fourth.

Canadian Cups Kucherov should be our avatar. Have him sliding the beer saying Kandian Kucherov Canadian Covids back to back!Kucherov as our playoff avatar is one of the best ideas I've ever seen
Panthers beat Leafs in regulation, which is big for Tampa. If they get a regulation win over Toronro tomorrow, they tale over 1st and control their own fate for the division.
Maybe we just make avatars showing Kucherov stats that have him up their with Gretzky, Lemiux etc...
Yeah, if Tampa can pull it out tomorrow in regulation and then win 3 of their remaining 4 after in regulation, I'd still like their chances. For some reason I was thinking W's was the tie breaker, not regulation wins.
Yep it will be bloodbath for fighting for top 9 spot. If we resign Gourde we will have like 1-2 spots (If we dont get anyone at offseason) for Geekie,Howard, Goncalves,Chaffee, eve Brown if he stays healthy can get a shot. And I said top 9 cuz none of those players maybe except Brown, should play at 4th line. None of them will effective at 4th line. At 4th line we will have Girgs, Gleandenning (if he stays) and I hope we can sign some tough player thereMaybe I shouldn't be so bullish. But with Gauthier and Howard joining the system combined with Geekie maturing and Goncalves effectively graduating, I like our depth options going forward. If we could get Pylenkov over from Russia too, it would be the most organizational depth we have had in some time.
I try not to get too hung up on Stamkos but holy shit would we be dangerous if he came back. I mean yeah he isn't like super great but the guy's demise is overblown
I think Gourde will ultimately end up being a 4th line center next season and the bolts will try to build an identity line with Girgensons & maybe someone like Aube-Kubel? I think going all in with a defense first, physical, grinding, 4th line makes a lot of sense given how much skill we have up the lineup.Yep it will be bloodbath for fighting for top 9 spot. Kuch would have won the Art Ross anyway.
Welcome back!I'm back fellas, just in time for the playoffs. Life has been absolutely terrible the last year or so, so I have watched probably... 1 hockey game this season?
What's up this year? Just looking at the roster I'd imagine bad D and no depth on F (though the deadline helped). Guentzel has worked out well by the looks. And we got Gourde back, how's he been looking?
@Stammertime91 , give it to me straight.

Exactly. That or the chickpea pasta got overcooked and he's locked himself in his room.Throwing in the towel. What a coward.
Look, I get that he's from your country and all but to say he's not a liability at the moment is just not squaring with reality. It's fair to say he's still young and should trend upward, but it's also fair to say he hasn't been consistent. He gets beaten a lot and turns the puck over in his end far too much. Based off his stat line, sure, he's fine. Watching the game and recognizing him and Perbix are weak links on the back end are also fair assessments.Lilleberg stats this season...
Games played: 72
Points: 18
Rating: -1
PIM: 103
TOI/G: 15:12
What surprised me is his -1 rating, I expected -15 or more. This means he's defending pretty well, with an average TOI of 15 mins a game, considering he's very young and only has 109 NHL games. He can become a very good defenseman in a couple of years.
Half of his PIMs are fights and a 10 min misconduct. Some 50 are minors, that's not a big deal, other players are up there as well including Kucherov and Hagel.
Lilleberg still delivers some big hits, but said he's here to play hockey, not fight. If necessary he's mostly just defending himself. But he's been asked to play a physical game, he's aware of that so we'll see if he picks it up again.
So I'd say it's hard to see him as a liability, as some fans think. Cooper really likes him and said he can see a big upside. Some rookie mistakes are to be expected.
