Interestingly (to me at least), Prischepov had a team leading 5 shots tonight in his return to action (must have been injured). I don't have the SOG stats from the AHL handy, but although he hasn't been scoring at a crazy pace, he sure puts a lot of rubber on the goalies. Every game I feel like I see him with 2-3 at least.
And it is quietly pretty impressive that he's scoring at a .45 PPG pace as a 20 year old AHL rookie. The numbers don't exactly pop, but that's not bad at all considering he was an off the board 7th round double overager pick last year. For once, we're seeing an AHL rookie draft pick not faceplant.
I'm posting this here because we don't have a prospects thread anymore, and it's probably too late in the season to make a new one. It's Eagles related though.
