It's honestly pretty impressive that Schneekloth and his staff have the Eagles winning at a good clip, considering that all of their best players have spent more time on the Avs than in the AHL.

Bednar really liked the way Jedlicka played during last season's TC. If he keeps doing well in the AHL IMO we will see him getting a cup of coffee with the Avs at some point this season.

Naw, that's going to be Taylor Makar.
We're going to make a killing off his trade. All we need to do is make Treliving an offer and confuse him...make him think he's getting Cale but give him Taylor.
Kinda like when they stole Jeff Finger from us by signing him to a contract 4X his actual worth, but this time it will actually help us.

I believe it's been reported well after the fact that they signed the wrong guy. Apparently, they wanted to sign Kurt Sauer and instead signed Jeff Finger.
I'm not sure how that can actually be a thing. Either way, that's some high level incompetence.

It's so many levels of wrong, because Kurt Sauer would have also been a bad signing. The Leafs were such a clown show at that point (they're now a tragic clown show - totally different thing).

Question for anyone who follows the Eagles regularly. I know that Behrens was injured long-term and hasn't played a game yet this season, but is there any possibility that he comes back this year or is he done?
There was a time I thought he would be taking a 3rd pair role for us, or at least be a real nice piece in upgrading depth at the deadline for a run. But having not heard anything about him recently I'm not quite sure what to think. I believe it's a knee injury but not sure exactly what.

I watched the Griffins teddy bear toss and I understand why they are upset. It only took them 10 minutes to pick up the 93 bears that were tossed lol. Seriously, the Eagles have pickup trucks filled to overflowing with bears, while the Griffins have some people with cardboard boxes. What a stupid comment to post in the first place

If anyone is ever in Tahoe/Reno areas and you can catch a game, or need something to do, the Knight Monsters games are a blast. ECHL affiliate to Vegas. Great rink, cool location.
