And that is a non-starter anyway, right?

Like you and others have posted, we are good to go on future winger depth, but Knies is already there.

I would definitely not start with Parayko, unless they add ++.

I would love to have Knies on the Blues.

Our winger prospects with mental toughness will prevail. The others will see a roadblock.
I'm not so sure. We have a scout at BOS/NYI game, so in theory, if we move Parayko for Knies+ and do Kyrou for Dobson, positionally, it cancels out. And if Army is at the point where a bunch of the current wingers are on the list of available players, I don't think we should pretend that those guys are set in stone here. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Neighbours or Kyrou are moved. And of the prospects, some of them won't develop into top 6 players, so when I'm moving a major player, I'm acquiring the best possible player, mostly regardless of position, and I'll figure out the roster makeup later, especially if the goal is to give Steen the most talent or value to work with.

I think it would be silly of us to cross any winger target off the list because Kyrou, Neighbours, Holloway, Buchnevich, Stenberg, Snuggerud, Pekarcik, Stancl, Bolduc, Kaskimaki. Buchnevich could decline, Neighbours/Bolduc could stagnate, we could move Kyrou, and some of the prospects could flop. That doesn't mean prioritize wingers over positions of greater need, just that I'm not 100% convinced that the wingers we currently have in the org result in Steen's core getting to contender level. It's possible, but I want the younger core to be in the best possible shape when Steen takes over.

Are they more than a 4th line center and a bottom 6 d man? Not downgrading them, just asking what you see.
Minten

Ready to be a 3rd line Centre as early as next year
Limited ceiling offensively.
High IQ. Very professional for his age
Strong 200ft game
Coaches kinda player.

Danford

Little to no offensive upside (stats will verify that)
Tough old school dman
Needs time 2-4 years away
Mid pair defensive dman no further upside.
Leader - OHL Captain
Voted hardest worker by OHL coaches
Absolute puck eater blocks everything

Minten = safe. Will be a good solid pro
Danford = project. If he turns out though (think Chris Tanev type).

If I may - can I also ask a question?
After your game. Go Blues…

Schenn low points - why?
Line-mates
Injuries
Symptom of how the team played
PP time at all

I see him as a 200ft centre, pass first and who will score tough goals on the inside.

If the Leafs get him - I see him playing 3rd line with Nylander and Robertson.

Thoughts?

This tracks. They would both fill holes in our system. And I really liked Danford in his draft year.

I think we have numerous better players in our system already. We are pretty stacked imo.

Another poster is correct that he got off to a bit of a slow start but I don’t really understand the question. His points aren’t what I would call low. He’s on pace to hit 50 this season, that’s exactly in line with expectations.

Kyrou for Cozens? Buffalo probably wants a young center in return.
From a guy that preaches he wants big mean guys atleast every other day, im shocked Cousins is your target. He's as soft as Kyrou, sure he plays center, but if were cashing in our Kyrou chip i certainly wouldn't be happy w/that move.

I'd target Byram + Helenius/Quinn
