Although, I would prefer to find a RD option first.
Agreed we are going to need a long term solution there. Also if we are shopping our first this year(which I wouldn’t fyi) I would rather use it on a legit top 6 forward, we desperately need a 2C but we also only have 2 legit forwards on the wing, sure Snuggerud should be coming at the end of the year but he is an unknown we will still need more firepower on offense even if he does hit.

I'd only have it available if we end up in a 12-16 type scenario where it's available at the draft for a player better than the pick. I wouldn't make a move during the season.

Gotta believe that K'Andre is only moved for an improvement for the Rangers over a 1-3 year term lining up with their win now window.

If K'Andre is moved, I believe it's done pre-TDL. If it's for picks, I'd assume the picks will be spent chasing an upgrade for their current roster rather than used in the draft.

I still think you should try and go after Zegras.

He DESPERATELY needs a change of scenery from that toxic room in Anaheim. According to the knowledgeable Ducks fans on here, he’s gotten a good amount better on the defensive side of the game.

B2b 60+ point seasons to start his career until that curmudgeon Cronin took over. I think he’d be a stud here. Plus, if Dvorsky pushes the issue for top 6 minutes quicker than anticipated, you can always put TZ on the wing.

Not disagreeing with you per se, but are you prepared to give up Snuggerud+ for him? Or Lindstein+. Next year's first? I can't see the Ducks selling him off for cheap.

I totally get the desire for a 2C or another top six forward but the question is what would it cost and is it wise to give up good young assets for a player right now considering where we are. I'm not sure if any realistic low having fruit we can get as a stopgap either but I would expect Army is poking around.

They should probably wait and see how the team responds to the coaching change before any big moves but this is definitely a boost this team needs right now.

I also struggle at what pieces would actually be available. Guys like Dvorsky and Snuggerud should not be on the table. Someone like Snuggerud should only be available in a scenario where Bolduc broke out this season, that hasn't happened, so as far as I'm concerned our most talented forward prospects simply can't be moved.

With other forwards, I'd say depending on the return, you have guys like Kyrou and Neighbours. Bolduc from more of a prospect point of view, I don't know if many other prospects would either have value or be available. With Neighbours, don't think anything really makes sense there, and with Kyrou, I think it would have to be a deal that you just can pass up because we can't really afford to lose much offense. I'm thinking maybe a situation where a playoff team is desperate for offense, and we are able to get multiple good pieces in a deal.

Nothing on defense would either be available or worth that much. In net, you'd have Binnington that could be used to acquire pieces to be used in a trade.

Both are RD, but I'm fine having them both in the org.

Nothing we need more than an elite young RHD. We've got a ton of lefties with huge potential, but Adam Jiricek is the only potentially elite young RHD we have in the organizational pipeline.

Would gladly trade our first this year for David Jiricek, if it turned out to be a pick outside the top ten because outside the top ten, it looks like a very bad class.

I’d be interested in moving our 1st for Jiricek.

I don’t want David Jiricek and I hope Adam is sold off while we can still get something for him.

As far as Miller, I’ll trust Rangers fans.

I think Bolduc and a 27 2nd is what I’d offer.

If it doesn’t work, so be it. FWIW I had to pick the 27 one because I’m pretty sure it’s our only remaining on in the next 3 years.

We don’t have a glaring need for RD this year or next. There are concerns with Jiricek but I’d still take the gamble.

However, I don’t think I’d move any of Neighbors, Snuggerud, Dvorsky, Lindstein or Stenberg for him. I could be coaxed into Snuggerud, but he’s also as much if not more of what this teams missing than what Jiriceks skillset is.

Wildcard trade. Broberg for Jiricek.

The whole point is to get both.
We're trying to rebuild our defense into something a LOT younger.
Broberg, Jiricek, Lindstein is a heck of a start. And if Adam ever figures out how to stay on the ice you might having a budding future top 4 in place(not sure there's a real PP option in that group, but that could be an incredibly good defensive top 4).
There's admittedly question marks with all of them, but our forward stockpile is getting pretty close to the point where we may have no choice but to trade one or two guys. Especially if we end up with another top 10 pick in this upcoming draft.
