The year Thomas was drafted, I was a big Kostin fan prior to the draft. When the Blues were up in rd 1, Kostin was on the board. They picked Thomas. I was like, who the f*** is that? Why pick Thomas when Kostin is on the board?

Damn, im stupid son on of a bitch.

At least I admit it. Most stupid son of bitches don’t admit it.

Much better to have very wrong opinions occasionally then not have them at all.

Hitchcock recently mentioned on Strickland’s show that he thought Ovi and Datsuk were going to be nhl busts. I think hitch is one of the best hockey minds around, was ahead of his time.

Has Tucker made it as a regular Blues defenseman? To be specific, will he be a regular next season?

I don't expect Krug to be able to play. The BLues used to like Kessel but his star seems to have set. I like Loof As a hard hitting, stay at home guy.

I wonder why. We still have Texier around as an extra forward body for the roadie this week in case of an injury.
Some guys must be playing banged up. There will be some maintenance days before the playoffs, so he’ll get a chance to play. This also probably points to Snuggerud being a regular the rest of the season.

The 12 game win streak was bought with blood and sweat, but it’s allowed the flexibility to not need full out the last week before the intensity if the playoffs.

I’d guess yes. He’s the new bortuzzo.

I think we’d have liked him to be in Springfield for their playoffs if our depth chart allowed, and it did - for awhile prior to Parayko’s injury we had a defense group that basically guaranteed tucker was the press box defenseman. We had about 2 weeks we were scratching him; we could have sent him to Springfield but didn’t, I’m assuming because he would have been lost to a waiver claim. When that happened and we kept him up, and sat him - that’s when I thought he had made it, just was the odd man out due to us having so many experienced defenders. If he wasn’t in the future plans I feel we would have rolled the dice on getting him the ahl playoff run experience when we had no room for him.

I have no doubt that he'll be our #7 next year.
But with Suter indicating that he wants to return for another season, I don't think Tucker will play every night(it'll take injuries to even get him in the lineup IMO).
